Project: 3D Product Animation | Client: Custom SLR | Timeframe: 3 weeks
We created this 1-minute 3d animation (along with still illustrations) for a kickstarter campaign to showcase the various features of Split Strap, a great product developed by San Francisco-based Custom SLR.
After receiving the storyboard for the animation we’ve delivered an animatic and the 3d modeled strap that were accepted.
Then, the bones geometry and muscle textures were worked out. The blue and green special effects that are used to visualize the features were created using several passes/layers and masks, rendered from the 3d scene.
Apart from the animation, we’ve also rendered hi-res, A4-sized images for print use. These images of the project can be previewed in small size below:
